Kung Hei Fat Choy

Kung Hei Fat Choy for all! I wish all you and your family to have a good health, good wealth , and may all your wishes come true  for the coming New Year!

This Chinese New Year 2012 is the year of the Water Dragon. In Chinese astrology Water exerts a calming influence on the Dragon’s innate fire. Water Dragons are more open to other people’s opinions than other Dragons which gives them the ability to channel their personal charisma into real leadership qualities.

The Year of the Dragon will be marked by excitement, unpredictability, exhilaration and intensity. It has been said that the Dragon is all about drama but if you take unnecessary risks, you may find yourself starring in your own personal tragedy.

The Year of the Dragon and the Philippine Poltics

What is in the offing for the Philippine politics and governance this 2012, the year of the Dragon? Is this year going to be on the positive side for progress, economic recovery, peace, and good governance? Since Dragon is all about drama, is politics going to be noisy this year?

On going is the impeachment proceedings for SC Chief Justice Renato Corona in the Senate. At the rate the impeachment proceedings is going now do we expect that this will not drag on for so long a time and that fair trial and justice be attained? Will Chief Justice Corona be found innocent or guilty beyond reasonable doubt before the eyes of the Senator Justices? And after the Corona trial in a political court, do we see more actions then from  the Executive Branch to improve the economy and generate more jobs for the Filipinos?

I hope there will be more action than noise from the Aquino administration this year. It’s about time the Filipinos shall be enjoying prosperity in this Matuwid na Daan as outlined by President Aquino.

I am one of the millions of Filipinos praying for peace, health, harmony, and prosperity for all. So many disasters happened on the 2011, I hope this year our nation will be on the path to development and economic recovery.

Once again Kung Hei Fat Choy for all!
